It was originally called "Zoroark" but Nintendo later changed it to "Zoroark NVI" (NVI being "New" in Japanese). It was originally called "Zoroark" because Nintendo has trademarked the name "Zoroark" for an online card game created by them. Zoroark NVI was the only Pokemon in the game that wasn't a pure type and so they changed it to Zoroark.
Zoroark is a very dark and serious Pokemon. It is very intelligent and knows how to take advantage of its surroundings. It has a very high IQ and can think many steps ahead of other Pokemon. It is also very clever and can defeat many other Pokemon without much effort if the battle is fought right. However, it can be easily angered and can become even more dangerous.
Zoroark is a very aggressive Pokemon and has no qualms about fighting other Pokemon. However, it does not like fighting and will try to avoid it like the plague.
