Early Life
At an early age, Eric was diagnosed with schizophrenia, which caused him to have hallucinations of his older brother Ryo. Ryo would appear to Eric as he liked to call himself "a bad guy" due to his antics. Eric's parents were very worried of the child's condition. Eric was then placed into an institution where he would be looked after by the staff and would be diagnosed with bipolar disorder. Eric's behavior improved but the staff would then discover that he was receiving messages from his brother Ryo that would appear to him through his visions. Eric was then released back into the community.
On the night before the Holograms' performance at the Cupid Cup, Eric received a message from his older brother Ryo telling him not to perform at the Cupid Cup.
