Uncle Steve personality type is ESFJ, isn't it? I think it's a real stretch to say that ESTJ is a "compulsive liar," especially in comparison to someone who lies in a compulsive, habitual way with a true Lying Personality Disorder. In fact, I just can't imagine that ESTJ is a compulsive liar at all. I think the most plausible interpretation of this is that perhaps there's some sort of compulsive tendency to be an ESTJ, but this doesn't seem to translate into a compulsive lying behavior.
And what about his lies? What is there to which he lies anyway? He lies about most things, for most of the time. But they aren't lies of a serious nature. He lies about very small things, and he lies about big things too, but he lies about big things in such a way that the things he lies about don't really matter very much. For example, he lies to his colleagues and friends about his level of study and his level of productivity, and the lies are very minor and non-problematic. Even if he was lying, it would be hard to see him as a compulsive liar.
