Knife personality type is ISTP, but I'm an Introverted Thinking type, not a Feeling type. The ISTP (Initiator, Steadfast, Thinking, Performer) type is often mistaken for the IFP (Introverted Feeler), because they are introverted and have auxiliary function of feeling, but they are also perceptive of their environment and act on what they observe. The INTP (Initiator, Thinker, Performer) type is often mistaken for the ISTP (Initiator, Steadfast, Thinking, Performer) because they are also perceptive of their environment and act on what they observe. They are far more introverted than the IFP (Introverted Feeling).
I'm an Introverted Thinker and an Introverted Perceiver. I'm not a Feeler. This is why I'm an ISTP. (And this is why we assume that INFPs have "Feeling" as their primary function. They do have it as a second function, but it is not their first one.)
I'm not saying that you can't be an INTP or INFP.
