The scene starts off with her singing a song about being left behind by Heidrek, and then she says that she will wait for him until the end of the world, and then he will come back to her.
She then takes a drink of mead and says that she isn't going to give up waiting for him, and she can't even imagine what kind of man Heidrek would be if he ever did return.
Aslaug is someone who is quite a strong character, and anyone who has ever been in a long distance relationship can understand the way she feels. It can be very hard to maintain a relationship with someone you don't see often, and she is certainly very strong for staying in contact with Heidrek despite everything.
