They could probably beat the Bulls in a 7 game series with that lineup, but I'm not convinced that the Grizzlies are really all that much better than them. Maybe they would beat them in a 7 game series, but it would probably be close.
The Lakers would be a better team to beat the Bulls if they added Dwight Howard. Then you would have two of the best centers in the league with Pau Gasol and Dwight Howard.
I guess you could say that the Lakers would have a more complete team with Dwight Howard, but I don't think they would be as good as the Lakers with Dwight Howard. The Lakers would still have Pau Gasol and Kobe Bryant, but Kobe Bryant would probably not be as dominant as he is now, while Dwight Howard would be another player that Kobe Bryant could never get his hands on.
With Dwight Howard on the Lakers, I think Kobe Bryant gets dealt or traded to another team, even though he will probably make another All-Star team this year.
