Kirito is shown to be a very bright and positive individual, who chooses to take whatever comes his way in stride and just enjoy it. He has a lot of confidence in himself and is not one to shy away from a challenge. This can often be seen in some of his tactics with other characters, such as with Asuna during the latter parts of Aincrad's SAO questline. He is also very loyal and determined, even when he does not exactly have the best of luck when dealing with other people, though he showcases this often enough that he is not someone who you want to cross. He does not believe in giving up easily and will keep at something for as long as it takes; even in the face of defeat or death.
