In "The Jeffries Report", the series' first episode, she is sent to investigate the murder of a young woman at a party. She also interacts with two other ISTPs: an unnamed ISTP and a young man she refers to as "Jake." She and the young man discover the body and she later conducts a search of the home's attic and is later knocked unconscious by a blackmailer. The blackmailer later attacks and kills the young man, and she survives with a knife wound to her chest after she is shot by the blackmailer. She is later treated at a hospital and it is revealed that she was romantically involved with the young man who was killed. The series ends with her leaving the hospital, having been released from her injury.
