I thought it was a cool idea and I’m glad you like it. As for your other question about the other cheerleading stuff, I think it works well because it gives Tori a reason to be around people and a reason to care about people.
I think that’s a valid reason, but I think it would have been better if Tori had been introduced into the world of cheerleading earlier in the series, so she had more time to learn about it and have more time to adjust to the idea.
