A couple of days before that, I'd been dragged into a training session with a group of children, who were being taught how to tap into the Nerv system. It seemed as if no one knew what they were doing, so I volunteered to help out. I was followed around by a bunch of young kids, most of them being around my age, as I tapped into their systems, showing them how it's done.
Then, as I sat down, a young woman came in and sat next to me. She had a very serious expression on her face, and she introduced herself as the leader of the training session.
"Hello," she said, in a soft voice. "My name is Jecht," she continued, in a more upbeat tone. "I'm the teacher for this session." She continued to introduce herself to the other participants, and I introduced myself to them as well, correcting their mistakes when they made them. When she was finished introducing herself, she turned to me. "So," Jecht said to me, in a more upbeat tone.
