We spoke about the importance of family ties, and how family can make a difference in a person’s life. Cynthia also touched on the brutal murder of her friend San Francisco mayor Willie Brown, whom she considers to be an incredibly powerful political figure.
“Our family was so different from the Brown family, but what we all had in common was that we were an independent family unit,” said Cynthia.
