Mei Ling personality type is ISFJ, which is the caretaker. My husband is an ISFJ, so I knew that I would have to take care of him in some way or another. He doesn't have a lot of friends, so I knew that would be my role in the relationship.
Anyway, I was also attracted to him because he was an amazing football player (he's retired now, but he was one of the best athletes at Auburn). I was really impressed with his intelligence and his ability to get along with people. He was very well-liked.
I think it's important to note that I was 18 years old when I met him. I didn't think about what I was doing at all. It wasn't like I wasn't thinking about drinking or doing drugs; I did both, but not to the point where I was concerned with my drinking because I thought drinking was part of hanging out with friends.
One of my friends did tell me not to drink around him, but I didn't listen to her. Anyway, she told me not to drink around him because he was very religious and he didn't do drugs.
