But as he travels through the galaxy, he comes across even more tragedy. He encounters many Loyalist ships that have been destroyed by Chaos forces. Then, he discovers that the Chaos Marines that were aboard these ships have slaughtered his army and killed his son.
So Dorn sets out on a mission to root out and destroy these Chaos Marines. And then, he travels to Terra and kills the Emperor himself.
Rogal Dorn, known as "The Vigilant," the "Praetorian of Terra" and the "Unyielding One," was the primarch of the Imperial Fists Space Marine Legion and one of the greatest heroes in the history of the Imperium of Man. A being of thunderous zeal and stone made manifest is how many described the primarch of the VIIth Legion. He had a stern and naturally unsmiling face, topped with an unruly shock of short, bone-white hair. His zeal was the fire of a son who believed in his father's dream for the Imperium without reservation and without question.
