Michael Morningstar (Darkstar) personality type is INTJ, and he has a ‘God complex’. This means that he is quite literally a god. He believes himself to be the creator of all life, and he is, for the most part, correct. He is the most powerful, smartest being in the universe, and he knows it. The only real problem with this is that he believes himself to be infallible and all-knowing. This is where his ‘god complex’ comes from. He thinks of himself as perfect and infallible in every way, and he holds himself to higher standards than everyone else. His intellect is not just a tool he uses to manipulate others, it is a part of him that he cannot control. This leads him into bouts of arrogance and irrationality, but his primary goal is always to protect and serve the human race at all costs. This would have been one of the most interesting prospects if the character of Darkstar was simply a god, but it was not. The character of Darkstar is a gunslinger who is constantly seeking to perfect his craft through a constant quest to perfect his humanity.
