ISTPs are rarely known to be the “dumb jock” stereotype. They are often great leaders or managers, problem solvers, strategists or planners. They are also often excellent at computer programming or science.
The ISTP personality type is often misunderstood by people who have not met one. ISTPs are often mistaken for being rude, unfriendly, mean or even crazy. They are however, great listeners, confident in their own abilities and very creative.
Jokes to be made at their expense include saying that they are “quiet introverts” who are afraid to talk to other people.
