Ray Hayward personality type is ISTP, and I've thought that it's been mostly an ISTP thing. However, I'll be the first to admit that it's been an ISTP thing. I don't think that it is ISTP, but in all fairness, that is what we are most comfortable with, and the ISTP way of thinking is the way I was taught to think. I am now learning to become a more introverted extrovert. I am starting to realize that there are two types of thinking, and that is where I have been wrong, but as a whole, I have been a very introverted extrovert.
As for the "ISTP thing", I tended to find myself being more like an extrovert, but being in a relationship with an extroverted person who is introverted made me more introverted than I ever would have been otherwise. Yes, my partner was very extroverted at times, but she was also very introverted at times. In some ways, this was easier for me, because I was able to understand her more than I could other people who may not have been in a relationship with an introverted person.
