He said he was working on the book in 2016 and kept it very personal. He didn’t share his suicide attempt with anyone else, and he didn’t want to be known as the author of a book about suicide. He said he didn’t want to be associated with mental health.
But his book was also about how to build bridges between people, and how to unite the world, Vano wrote.
“In many ways, I have been trying to be the Gandhi of my time,” Vano wrote. “I have been trying to bring peace, love and unity through various means. I have been trying to help the world unite.”
He said he was working to bring people together through his community outreach and writing.
