Froze personality type is INTJ, but I'm not sure if it's because he's older than me or because his personality is just so different from my own, but I find him to be very difficult to read. He thinks he knows everything, and I feel like I'm not really part of the conversation if he's talking to me.
We talk about all sorts of things, but I don't think the conversation is really about me. He says he's interested in me, but I can't tell what he actually wants. Like, he says he's always interested in me, but it's always like, "Well who are you with?" I'm asking him to stay with me, but he says he can't because he needs to be part of a group. And that group happens to be the people he hangs out with, which are not my friends.
I don't know what to do. I can't encourage him to go out with my friends because it could hurt them, and I can't make sure he hangs out with my friends because it feels too encouraging.
I've tried to talk to him about this, but he won't listen.
