Kariya Matou personality type is ISFP, which means he also has some Fi, Se, Te, but it’s not as pronounced as with Shirou.
The only way I can think of that Kariya could be an INTP is if he were to have some Si thrown in with the Fi.
Shirou
Shirou is an INTJ, which is my favorite personality type. He’s a bit of a mix between the two archetypes. He’s an INTJ with some Te and Si thrown in, so he’s a mix between INTP and INTJ. I’ve been told that Shirou should have been an INTJ, so he’s a pretty accurate representation of that personality type.
That being said, I feel that Shirou should have been a bit more of a mix between the archetypes, but I’m not going to complain about it being a bit off since Shirou is one of my favorite characters.
The Matou family tends to be a bit more complex than other families, but they get the job done.

An anime adaptation has been produced by Ufotable, the first season of which aired from October 1 to December 24, 2011 and the second season of which aired from April 7 to June 23, 2012.
