Lancelot (Berserker) personality type is ISTP, so you might not be surprised to learn that ISTP is also highly skilled at operating machinery, can be lazy, can be combative, and are usually quite confident in their own abilities.
I have written about the ISTP temperament in detail in my book "The 16 Personality Types." ISTPs are usually very well equipped to handle the mechanical tasks that they are assigned. The only thing that concerns them is that they might not get credit for their work, or that they might get blamed for someone else's mistake.
I have found that ISTPs are often the best workers in the family. They are usually good at predictable, routine tasks, and can often complete them quickly. They are also excellent at organizational skills. They are the ones who create the schedules for the family, and they are also the ones who are responsible for organizing all of the projects that need to be done during the week.
Some ISTPs are afraid that they might fail at these tasks, or that they might be seen as lazy. This can lead them to start projects that they really don't want to do, or to complete them in a sloppy fashion.
