While he did not attend a Japanese school, Takayuki was raised in England and moved back to Japan when he was 18, after signing with Sony Music Japan. He says that he enjoys the freedom that comes with not being tied down to a school schedule.
“I don’t really have any formal studies. I never went to a public school. So I don’t have all the class schedules and stuff like that,” he said. “I can do whatever I wish to do on my own time.”
He explained that although his personality type is ENTP, he does not think of himself as an “entrepreneur” type person, as many others do.
