As an ENTP, I am very aware of the fact that JP does not like to lead conversations, ever, or to tell people what he thinks of them, or of anything else. He is also quite direct. Therefore, it is not surprising that he uses sarcasm quite frequently. But what is really fascinating to me is that JP’s sarcasm has a point. It is not intended simply to offend or ridicule someone, but instead to provoke thought.
One of my favorite examples of this was when I was an intern at the Korean office of the US Agency for International Development (USAID). I had just finished my internship, and was looking for a job. I approached an older Korean gentleman who had worked at USAID for decades, and who was obviously well-connected.
