Mantis Devil personality type is INFP, which makes me a mantis. I am a natural introvert. I feel more comfortable talking to my computer and my pets. I like to be alone. In fact, I have been known to create a 'zone' and block out the world. The first time I heard the word 'zone' was at an introvert's conference. I thought, "What is that? Is it like meditation?" And I was told, "No, it is where you cut yourself off from everything and then you are in a place where you can really focus and get stuff done. You can completely disconnect." That sounded great to me! That is how I like to work. I love when I can go into my zone and do what I do in my studio or while I am at work. But people tend to want me to do things with them. They don't understand that I need my own time to recharge and focus.
I don't like to mix with people because I am an introvert. So when I did this project, I created the project of a mantis under an insect's shell. Mantis are creatures that have wings, but they are not flying creatures. Their wings are for capturing food instead of flying.
