She is kind and caring, but also one of the most popular girls in class. She is also known as "Best Girl" and "The One and Only Kirishima." She is also a member of the volleyball club and the art club. She is good friends with Toujou and Amakase. Like all of her friends, she has a crush on Shindou, but she thinks it's unrequited. She is very close to Amakase and Toujou, but they aren't as close to her as they are to each other.
In the manga, Kirishima also has a younger sister named Aoi Kirishima. She has a very close relationship with Amakase, who is often seen with Kirishima and Toujou before the latter goes to the beach. Kirishima is very happy about this, but Amakase becomes jealous. Kirishima is also popular with boys before going to the beach with Amakase and Toujou.
Natsuya is a boisterous, keen, and upbeat character although according to his best friend, Nao Serizawa, he is somewhat socially awkward.
