Houser said his daughter’s personality was never a problem for her classmates at school, but she did suffer from social anxiety.
“She struggled with her social life a lot,” he said. “She never really accepted the fact that people liked her. But she had a lot of friends.”
Houser said he and his wife were shocked when they learned what had happened.
“This is a total shock,” he said. “We just can’t believe it happened. We were praying for her. I just want people to know that she was a good person.”
