Garen: Gameplay Style personality type is ESTP, which means I’m probably the type of person that loves to build things, like this game. The game is already super fun and I’d like to keep it that way.
What is the inspiration behind Celestia? What is your creative process like?
Garen: My inspiration comes from all the different types of games I play, like Zelda, Pokemon, and Minecraft. I like to make games that are fun for everyone. My creative process is mostly trial and error. I start with an idea and refine it until I get something that works; I try to make it as logical as possible. I think this is one of my most notable features with Celestia since it’s one of the first games I’ve ever made.
What are some of your favorite games? What are you working on now?
Garen: My favorite games are the ones with the most creative twists on story and gameplay, like Fallout 4 and Undertale. I’m currently working on a game called ‘Albatross’, which is a Mario-like platformer.
