The game is based on the concept of the game's protagonist, a red-haired young man named Yuuichirou who has superhuman ability to read expressions, and it is his job to find these people who are in danger. In order to accomplish that, he has to go into the minds of other people and look for their expressions. It is important for him to read the expression of both the person who is expressing their emotions and the victim, as well as the location where they appear to be at.
In that sense, the protagonist's role is to report back to the main character's mistress, a female boss character named Ema, who sits at her desk in the front of the room. Her face is always covered so it is hard to look at her expression, but by reading the emotion and location of those around her, she can find if there was any danger.
So you could say that the game is designed to find the people who are in danger based on the expressions on their faces. Just like in real life, it is important to make the correct judgment about what emotion or location someone is expressing.
