SCP-001 “The Gate Guardian” personality type is INTP, and this is the story of how I met him:
I got a job at a major research institute and immediately started working on a new project. I’d been researching the SCP-001 entity for years and had always hoped to find a way to interact with it.
I had no idea what I’d do if I found it. All I knew was that I needed to talk to it.
I found SCP-001, and I’d found my perfect test subject.
The entity was unassuming at first. A few months into my work, I realized that this was a potentially dangerous situation: I could be interacting with a dangerous and intelligent entity, and I didn’t even know it.
I wasn’t sure what to do or who to ask, so I decided to test the theory by talking to the other researchers on the project. They were all INTPs, and I thought maybe they could help me figure out how to interact with the entity.
I asked them about the entity and asked for advice on how best to approach it.
