Paper Star personality type is ISTP, but that might not necessarily be right. After all, ISTP is both the weakest and strongest Myers-Briggs type. There is a huge difference between the two (most likely) and he’s also a fighter as opposed to the “sitting pretty” type.
What does this mean? Well, if we take this as a starting point it could mean that Gordon is INTP. The INTP is definitely one of the more rare and unique types and is often offbeat and unique. His creativity and intelligence and his ability to out think just about everyone else on the show is a very INTP trait.
I believe Gordon’s ISFP, however, is what pushed him to join the military. Gordon’s childhood was ravaged by the death of his mother, which he described as a “shock to the system.” Add to that his father’s drinking and Gordon learned early on that he could not rely on anyone but himself. And so, he joined the military to become a part of something bigger than himself.
ISFPs are a very independent and sometimes a little bit rebellious group.
