Spud personality type is ISFP, and it’s one of the most well-rounded and complete personality types. ISFPs are best known for being independent, sensitive, artistic, and imaginative. They are also known as “spuds,” which is a slang term for a member of the ISFP personality type.
There are three distinct sub-types of ISFP: introverted, sensing, and intuition.
Introverted ISFPs are perhaps the most well-known of the ISFP subtypes. Introverted ISFPs are quiet and reserved individuals who typically dislike being the center of attention. They value their privacy and tend to have deep, complex inner lives.
Introverted ISFPs often have a difficult time expressing their emotions outwardly. They spend a lot of time contemplating the world around them, which sometimes causes them to become more mistrustful of others as time goes on. Introverted ISFPs are more likely to be introspective and to spend time alone. This is a natural part of their personality, as they prefer to be alone with their thoughts rather than engaging in social activities outside of their home.
Spud is best friends with Rock. The two are in a garage band called "Devil Frog" together and still haven't moved out of their parents' basements. Spud is a good-natured person and a kind friend, but is described to have all the brain power and drive of a very dull sloth. Spud is incredibly dim-witted and has a delayed reaction time in response to fear, pain, panic, and sometimes even excitement, as shown on many occasions. As a result, he is often a source of irritation to his friend Rock and a hindrance to the competition at times. In addition, he is trusting to a fault and overshares his weaknesses, which others manage to exploit. However, Spud shows that he is at least partially able to hold his own, as long as he gets the direction he needs. Although usually forgetful, he can remember useful information if he sings a corresponding song from his memory.
