The personality type of a person is influenced by the social environment he or she inhabits, rather than the mere raw dichotomy of male and female. There are far too many people who can be categorized as “very emotional” or “very rational” for it to be accurate.
Instead, we should look at the way a person uses his or her emotions and rational mind. For example, an INTP who’s hyper-rational might be more interested in data and facts than a more naturally emotional person, yet both would still be INTPs.
