Callum Highway personality type is INFP, with a little ISFP in there too. I’m not sure what the F stands for, whether it’s “feeling” or “functioning,” but the two are completely different.
As an INFJ, I’m naturally more introverted. To be successful at my job, I’ve had to learn how to push myself out of my comfort zone and go against my natural inclination to be an introvert.
It doesn’t necessarily mean I can’t be an introvert, but I’ve found that if you want to get anywhere, you have to get out of your comfort zone.
That said, I still think I’m an introvert at heart. I’m more comfortable in smaller groups where I can communicate with fewer people. But, because of my personality type, I have to force myself to be outgoing, which is difficult for me.
I have always felt that I have a tendency to over-analyze everything. It has gotten better over time, but it has always been something that I’ve struggled with.
