Chihiro personality type is ENFJ, and I think that that's why she could have such a close relationship with her father. I think that one of the reasons the anime felt like it was moving so fast was that it felt like it was accelerating down a sharp turn rather than smoothly sailing down a straight line. I've noticed that when the anime is describing a place, it often uses colors in front of the screen as though they are guiding you through the place. This helps give the anime a sense of focus and direction. And sometimes there will be a "distant" point in the background that you can focus on, and that can give you a sense of where you are in the story. There's also the "fly-by" view of the characters, and those are always pretty fun to watch. @Akira Kazama
I've been thinking about this, and I think that both anime are very good at making you feel like you're right there along with them.
The first one makes you feel like you're in this strange world full of magic and monsters and you have no idea what's going on, but you kind of like it. You really want to know more about this world and these characters.
