Anno described his own experience to Egoist Magazine:
I have a very unstable mind. I have a lot of anxiety and it usually comes out as depression. I have a lot of internal tension and it usually comes out as anger. I also have a lot of sadness and it usually comes out as suicide. I'm very unhappy inside. This is not good for me to talk about, but I can't hide it anymore. I'm just going to be honest about it.
