I do like the idea of Kintaro as a character, because he represents how one can overcome his shortcomings through effort and practice. He is also very loyal to his friends. He is also very funny.
Overall, I don't think Kintaro is very well developed as a character.

The story for this anime is very simple, but it is well developed. It's about a boy who is rescued by a monster and grows up with him, trying to complete his training to become stronger.
The story is interesting, but sometimes it gets boring because the characters do the exact same things over and over. I think it would have been better if they added more variety to the characters some how.
