Pixietails I think those people are more worried about what others think than themselves. That's why they can't just tell people that they do it and accept it and move on. I've always thought that the people who joke about it are just doing it because they're trying to deal with their anxiety and depression. I know what you mean. My friend is a self-proclaimed humorless person. If she ever heard me say something funny, she wouldn't even crack a smile. She's so serious and doesn't even see the humor in things. That's why I rarely tell jokes around her. She's never found them funny.
But what I'm saying is that sometimes, you have to laugh about your problems, otherwise they'll take over your entire world.
