"They are all about helping others, helping them gain confidence, help them find their own path to happiness," said the senior, who is enrolled in the Business Management major at Purdue University Northwest. "I thought I could help them and give them a little confidence boost and help them believe in themselves again."
The senior said she has been acting as a counselor and facilitator for the group and said she has helped the participants feel more comfortable and express their feelings.
"I thought it was a great idea and wanted to lend a helping hand," said the senior, who also plays varsity softball and is studying abroad at the University of Strasbourg, France. "Some people tend to keep things bottled up and not let other people see them, so I thought it would be a great way to get their voices out. It was a good idea."
The senior said she hopes to continue helping other students and said she might even be able to work with other students on improving their communication skills.
Indy is a classmate of Bluey's, appearing in multiple episodes, such as 'Mums & Dads', 'Early Baby', 'Markets' and more.
