The main reason why I think that the story is a series of conundrums is because of the fact that all of the characters in the story are ‘geniuses’, and that some characters’ ‘genius’ is not very clear, while some characters’ ‘genius’ is perfectly clear. In other words, the characters’ ‘genius’ is not consistent, and this is the main reason why the story is a series of conundrums.
In order to solve each of the conundrums, Akabane comes up with a strategy that is not very logical. For example, in chapter 12, he suggests that he will get rid of all of the girls in the school by making them into manga characters. This is a very stupid idea, because I’m pretty sure that this would be a very bad idea to do something like this. However, because of his ‘genius’ thinking skills, he comes up with a plan that is very logical.
