I’ve always been interested in the Gretchen personality type because I feel it is very similar to my own. She likes to think of herself as a “Goddess”, and she is always searching for her “soul mate”. Gretchen has a hard time accepting that she is being used, and I can relate to this struggle. I also like to think of myself as a “Goddess”, and I can also relate to the struggle of being a “Daughter” and not wanting to be used or feeling like she is not good enough.
I am a “Daughter” and I have always been searching for my “soul mate”. I went through a long period of time where I was in a very unhealthy relationship with my boyfriend. I was so afraid of being alone, and I did everything to keep him happy, including being a “Daughter”, which is something Gretchen is not sure she wants to be, but continues to try her best at because she doesn’t want to be alone.
