Tidus personality type is ESTP, which is why he's so headstrong and boisterous, which is one of the reasons, at the end of the game, he is so overjoyed to be reunited with Yuna. That, and Yuna is really really nice to him in the game.

I'm not sure about Tidus/Yuna. I've seen a lot of fanart of it, and it's a bit weird seeing two 16-year-old characters in love. Plus, Tidus and Yuna were really close in the game, but that's just because the two of them were away from their friends for a long time. They don't have any real relationship before they get split up in the story.
I don't care too much for Yuna/Tidus. I think it makes too much sense just to make a pairing in order to get a couple out there.
