Hirono was a member of the gang with Yoshimi Yagahi and led by Mitsuko Souma. Hirono was friends with the two other members in her clique, Mitsuko Souma and Yoshimi Yahagi. However, Mitsuko stole her boyfriend at some point in the past, leading to animosity between the two girls. Hirono suspects Mitsuko of being responsible for the death of three of their classmates; Megumi, Yoshimi and Yoji. When confronting her, she holds Mitsuko at gunpoint - however after Mitsuko manages to taze her with Megumi's stun gun that she took from her. Mitsuko then kills Hirono by shooting her 3 times in the back as she tries to escape.
