Hernandez said he felt like a "born-and-raised" ISTP, while his wife felt like an "old soul" and "born-and-raised" ISFJ.
"When I look at her and I see her personality, it's just like, 'Wow,'" Hernandez said.
ISTPs are known for their independent nature, strong work ethic, and an inability to be tied down by obligations. ISFJs are known for their people skills, service orientation, and a strong desire to help others.
"It's basically the same things, but our personalities are different," Hernandez said. "It's like being able to take something you have in common and make it better."
Hernandez said he thought it was important to recognize the way his wife's personality complemented his own.
