Wontkins is a puppet created by Jim Henson and one of two mascots for the 1950s Wilkins Coffee advertisements. Wontkins is stubborn, grumpy, and typically self-serving. He doesn't like the taste of coffee, so whenever he's offered a cup of Wilkins Coffee by his friend Wilkins, he always refuses to drink it. However, this would be his undoing many of times, as Wontkins is promptly beaten, battered, and tortured because he doesn't like coffee, sometimes to the point of being murdered.
