    INTJ (1w9)

Eurasian Sparrowhawk personality type is INTJ, which is the same as my profile. I wonder if this is an example of how similar we are.

I’m not sure what to make of that. It could be that I inherited the personality trait (and thus trait combinations) from my mother, or it could be that the trait is common in all Eurasian Sparrowhawks. I’m inclined to think it’s the latter.

I have come to think of my father as being less authoritarian than my mother. This is one of the traits that my mother gave me, but only since I took the ENTP personality type measures.

I have come to think of myself as being more idealistic than my mother. This is one of the traits that my mother gave me, but only since I started taking personality type measures.

Not much to say here except that both of these are things that my mother wanted me to learn about myself. My mother might have given me this trait because she thought it would make me more independent, but she also might have inherited it from her father, who was more independent than she was.

My father gave me the traits of being more open-minded and less judgemental.

The Eurasian sparrowhawk (Accipiter nisus), also known as the northern sparrowhawk or simply the sparrowhawk, is a small bird of prey in the family Accipitridae. Adult male Eurasian sparrowhawks have bluish grey upperparts and orange-barred underparts; females and juveniles are brown above with brown barring below. The female is up to 25% larger than the male – one of the greatest size differences between the sexes in any bird species. Though it is a predator which specialises in catching woodland birds, the Eurasian sparrowhawk can be found in any habitat and often hunts garden birds in towns and cities. Males tend to take smaller birds, including tits, finches, and sparrows; females catch primarily thrushes and starlings, but are capable of killing birds weighing 500 g (18 oz) or more.
