Hawaiian Monk Seal personality type is INFP, which is one of my favorite MBTI types. And on top of that, they’re also interested in animal rights.
And then we have the Northern fur seal (Phoca vitulina). Northern fur seals are the only polar land mammals aside from seals and walruses. They live in the Arctic and sub-Arctic regions across Alaska, Canada and Russia. Their habitat consists of the surface of the sea, along with ice floes and shorelines of shallow waters. Northern fur seals are also known for their large pups, which they give birth to in December and February during mating season.
Northern fur seals are considered to be the most important prey species for polar bears. And for this reason, the entire ecosystem in the Arctic is in danger.
Northern fur seals have a very complex social structure in which a hierarchy is formed among breeding males, females and their offspring. When they’re not breeding, they’re observed to have a high degree of sociability. Their social behavior is considered to be more complex than any other seal species.
The Northern fur seal is also an endangered species.
