Star-Nosed Mole personality type is ISTP, the Introverted Sensing Type. This means you are a perfect fit for the ISTP- Star-Nosed Mole combination. The combination will work best when you are in a position of power, in a hierarchical society in which you can set your own rules and make your own decisions. You will find it easiest to use your star-nose to get what you want when you are in a position of power. Your star-nose will help you to control others and you will adore making people feel inferior. You will only be happy when you are in control and when you have power over others. There is a great deal of fear and anxiety associated with being in a position of power and so ISTPs with this combination may find it difficult to hold on to their position of power and may give it up to someone less powerful than them. The fear and anxiety associated with power and authority is why this combination is only recommended for those who have already found their place in life and who are fully comfortable with their place in life.

The star-nosed mole is a small mole found in moist, low areas in the northern parts of North America. It is the only member of the tribe having a touch organ with more than 25,000 minute sensory receptors, known as Eimer's organs, with which this hamster-sized mole feels its way around. With the help of its Eimer's organs, it may be perfectly poised to detect seismic wave vibrations. The extremely sensitive star-like structure is covered with minute touch receptors known as Eimer's organs. The nose is about 1 cm in diameter with roughly 25,000 Eimer's organs distributed on 22 appendages. Eimer's organs were first described in the European mole in 1871 by German zoologist Theodor Eimer. Other mole species also possess Eimer's organs, though they are not as specialized or numerous as in the star-nosed mole.
