Baroque personality type is INFJ, but that's not why I'm mentioning it. I'm talking about the way that the MBTI type describes the way that people live their lives. It's not about whether or not an INFJ is actually like that, it's about the way that type does things.
The MBTI is like a snapshot of a person's personality at a given moment in time. The key, of course, is to take the snapshots again and again and compare them. This is how you can get a sense of someone's personality over time.
I believe this is what the MBTI was originally intended to do. What I mean by this is that the MBTI was never intended to be a "type" in the sense that INFJ is just one particular type of person. The MBTI was intended to be an indicator of how a person might have developed in his or her life, in terms of what aspects of his or her personality might have grown the most.
Take an INFJ, for example. He or she would have grown in different ways when it came to extroversion vs introversion, for example. The MBTI does not cover all types, but it does cover four of the most common ones.
