Invisible Man personality type is ENTP, which is one of six personality types called the "Theorist." The other five are ESTJ, ISFJ, ISFJ, ISFP, and INTP. I'm not sure if all of these are equally represented in the population, but I'm fairly certain that the Ne-Ti-Se-Fi pattern (Ne - Ti - Se - Fi) is fairly common in both men and women.

The ENTP is "Extraverted Intuitive Thinking Perceiving," which means that they are highly aware of the world around them. They spend much of their time analyzing and considering things, which can make them feel like they are missing out on the simple pleasures in life. They can get lost in their own thoughts, and this can lead them to lose touch with reality.

A man's mental illness is usually connected to his home life or to his family members. For example, if he has an estranged father or mother, he may feel disconnected from them and may have a harder time communicating with them. If he feels ignored or unwanted by his family, he might start to feel emotionally numb and distant from friends and coworkers.

Invisible Man is a novel by Ralph Ellison, published by Random House in 1952. It addresses many of the social and intellectual issues faced by African Americans in the early twentieth century, including black nationalism, the relationship between black identity and Marxism, and the reformist racial policies of Booker T. Washington, as well as issues of individuality and personal identity. Invisible Man won the U.S. National Book Award for Fiction in 1953, making Ellison the first African American writer to win the award. In 1998, the Modern Library ranked Invisible Man 19th on its list of the 100 best English-language novels of the 20th century. Time magazine included the novel in its TIME 100 Best English-language Novels from 1923 to 2005, calling it "the quintessential American picaresque of the 20th century," rather than a "race novel, or even a bildungsroman." Malcolm Bradbury and Richard Ruland recognize an existential vision with a "Kafka-like absurdity."
