What is the personality type of Slice of Life? Which MBTI personality type best fits? Personality type for Slice of Life from Movie & Literary Genres and what is the personality traits.
Slice of Life personality type is ISFJ, the Caregiver.
I would have to say that in my experience, ISFJs are a lot more cautious in their decision-making than their Ni counterparts. This is not to say that ISFJs are always cautious in their decisions, just that they tend to take a lot of time in making them. In fact, the greatest gap in how the two types process information is in that Ni types tend to process information in a more impulsive manner. As a result, they make decisions based on what is presented to them and what they see, while ISFJs tend to make decisions based on how they feel and what they think. With this in mind, I would say that ISFJs make their decisions with the intention of keeping the people around them safe and secure, while Ni types make their decisions with the intention of making themselves happy.
When it comes down to it, the reason that ISFJs like to be more cautious is because they like to consider all possibilities before making a decision. This is not to say that they do not make decisions quickly, but rather that they take their time and carefully consider all the options before making a final decision.
Slice of life describes the depiction of mundane experiences in art and entertainment. In theater, slice of life refers to naturalism, while in literary parlance it is a narrative technique in which a seemingly arbitrary sequence of events in a character's life is presented, often lacking plot development, conflict and exposition, as well as often having an open ending.
