Wade Felton Personality Type, MBTI

Wade Felton personality type is ENTP, which we discussed in Chapter 2. He is a very smart guy and probably would have made a good scientist, but his personality type doesn’t match that career. It’s like he has two personalities: one that is an ENTP, and one that is an ISTP. This kind of situation happens all the time with people with an ISTP type. They get into a job where they are expected to be detail-oriented and make sure everything gets done, but they don’t like the work. They have a hard time sitting still for long periods of time and have a difficult time concentrating on details. They prefer to work on bigger goals and principles, and they don’t really like the idea of being held back by details. Often, their ISTP personality type comes out when they are confronted with details that they don’t really like. They may have been asked to do something in a very specific way and not on their terms, or they may have been required to do something without having a choice in the matter. A lot of people have ISTP preferences in their careers, too, so they are not alone in feeling this way.
